life's too short to be lived as extended journeys.
Life's too hard to be thought as a 'paint by numbers',
life's too easy to go by just saving moments.

Life's a trip that you take when you're not prepared,
life's events that you can not do more than wait.
Life's experiencing others as part of you,
life's being you, from a scheme that you can't go through.

Life is life, and I know it'll come to an end,
there are rules that I think I just can not bend,
so I better keep living as I know how
'till the moment is come that I don't survive.
